We had SO much snow coming down I was surprised anyone showed up at all. I got to the Market about 5 minutes late, and Kevin was already there. We began handing out double movie packs (David Ray Griffon and 9/11 Revisited)

I’m not sure if I stressed just how much snow was coming down. Good thing we each had a toque (rhymes with Luke)

Within a few minutes everyone else started arriving. We had pretty much everyone who came out to the November action with the addition of about 4 more people. Some of these people I’d spoken to in e-mails, so it was good to put a face to the name. Maybe it was a result of the meeting we’d had earlier in the month, but everyone immediately fell into their roles and we just started getting the word out. We got a very friendly response overall. One guy even said ‘You guys are truthers?’ so we really are a mainstream political reality

We handed out our movies, and made our way over to the Speakers Corner to have our say with the CTV. Either they knew we were coming, or having the system running in the winter is a low priority because it was down

No one from the A Channel came out to cover us

After that, we gathered up in front of A-Channel for a pic. Now this is the part that I loved. There was a newscaster doing a live broadcast on the other side of the window. From her vantage point, she would have witnessed about 15 people appear from out of nowhere in her window, and then immediately turn their backs on her. It’s the kind of statement that one can’t script. It just happens.  Anyways, the guards came rushing out pretty quickly to tell us not to flash any cameras while they were recording a broadcast. Fair enough. We were friendly so they were friendly. We moved over to the other side of the main door and took our pics there

After that, we handed out a few more fliers and decided to call it. We’d gotten our DVDs out and our message was heard. I ended up getting a ride home by one of the guys there, because in his trunk he had 2 big cases of paper DVD envelopes totalling 6000 in all. This secures our envelope need for well over a year unless we go crazy. He also donated 200 blank DVDs, so a big thumbs up and a thank you to Matthew for his generous donation towards January’s truthaction. After I left, one of the new guys remembered that he’d brought about 100 copies of Loose Change in a bag, so a second surge happened. I’m hoping that some pics of that were taken and I’m not sure how many were involved in it, but it’s fantastic to hear. I also like how some signs were brought out..

200 Discs and lots of Poppies. The weather was cool and crisp. The sun was nice and warm. This month, we went out a day early, so we could leave the 11th for the Vets.

We’ve got a sign now. Kevin knew the names, locations, factual details about what he’s displayed in his poster, and several people engaged him in some very informative conversations

Maybe the CBC will notice us now. I know we were photographed by a few people that seemed to know we were coming. Don’t worry. We photographed right back

John showed up and got right to work. He also loaned me three 9/11 movies that I haven’t seen yet. More movies to watch, more choices to burn for others.

We had between 4 and 6 new people come out to help for the first time this month. They all found us from different methods too. Gotta love the net.

You know, the CBC never acknowledges that we’re out here, but our message definately sneaks it’s way in

There are 2 people that chose not to be photographed. They both helped hand discs out and they’re both welcome to their privacy. In total, we had 10 people show up. It took 8 months, but Ottawa 9/11 Truth is finally here.

We gave away all our discs in 1 hour.

Welcome to Canada. It’s not as cold as it looks but the wind sure had a bite. This is what the temperature was when I got home.

This guy got my e-mail and came out to get some info. I never got permission to post his name, so he’ll remain nameless

Check out those puddles. It was coming down pretty steadily

I got a cop, or a commissionaire. Someone in security.

Kevin showed up to help out. I had met him through the local NOWAR mailing list. They’re the anti-war group in Ottawa. He said he’d help out, and true to his word he was there. Check out those shoulders. That’s a trooper

I was just handing the discs off, but Kevin was engaging them. It worked out really well. At one point, he even unloaded 5 discs to a merchant. He said he was going to get them to the other merchants on the block. Working from the inside out Maybe I can get the support of all of CBCs neighbors

We took opposite sides and caught the people as they passed through. Cold and rainy is how I’d describe this part. Fun though

We had another nameless activist watching. I was happy for the support, and it’s always good to have a few witnesses around

After well over an hour, Kevin had to take off. He had helped out immensely, and we were down to only about 30 discs. That was when the reinforcements arrived, and Kevin was off the clock!

Ben showed up as well as my cousin Rebecca. Ben also brought another 90 discs so despite the cold we had our second wind. As you can see, the New York shirts came in all sizes

The rest of the discs took about another 40 minutes

Colder and darker

This was where we pretty much called it. We unloaded the rest of the discs by the bus. The sun had gone down and my hands were pretty white but things went really well

I had one guy flip out on me yelling that I was distracting people from the main issue, which was (in his mind) the economy. He said that there’s no way the buildings were blown up. I held up the Building 7 pic and said what happened to this building. He ignored it and said he didn’t believe in conspiracy theories. I said that’s good ’cause the official story is about Osama and 19 hijackers ‘conspiring’ to steal 4 planes. He then yelled something about it taking over 100,000 people and stormed off

I had another lady hand me back the DVD saying that she didn’t want to hear anything about how “The Jews” did it. That was rather odd and needless to say, she wasn’t interested in hearing me try to tell her that’s not what was on the disc

So I got my first 2 strong reactions, but I did have a couple of really positive moments too.

I got a thumbs up from a guy heading into the CBC which I was happy to see, and at one point, when I went to tell a lady about Building 7, she nodded saying “I saw Rosie talking about that on tv” and then promptly took a DVD
